On 28/12/2010 and 29/12/2010 CAPART (Council For Advancement Of  Peoples Action and Rural Technology  ) organized a workshop on Appropriate Technology For Rural Development in New Delhi.
The workshop was  held for discussing major issues in the rural sectors and the role of  NGO’s and TRC’s (Technology Resource Centers) for the same.The groups were formed by the CAPART for discussing following issues and role of CAPART for this.The Group discussions were held on the following topics-
1.Guidelines on Appropriate Technology including Application format and budget.
2.Guidelines for TRCs.
3.Technology Innovations and traditional knowledge.
4. NCUES and Report of task force of prime minister on MSME.
On behalf of Vigyan Ashram Mr.Vinayak R.Dharmadhikari participated in the group discussion for the topic Technology Innovations And Traditional knowledge.
The group discussed the innovations done in the rural sectors,the protection for intellectual property of individual,support for inventor for its invention and traditional knowledge .
The role of CAPART for this is discussed in which CAPART can help to inventor for its invention if he/she comes through NGO/TRC.
